Sponsored walk route Saturday 7th June: start at St Andrew's Church, Compton Bishop at 10am prompt, along the coffin path behind houses, across fields, down Bourton Lane, to A38 crossing, along coffin path to Axbridge, brief history stop at site of old Workhouse, then Axbridge Town Square, along Cheddar Rd, onto Strawberry Line, lunch stop just before Five Ways Bridge (tables), Sharpham Rd, along drove to Cheddar Yeo River, follow river, across Old Coach Rd in Cross, thence to Dunnett Farm and back to the church. It's a beautiful walk, mostly flat, some of it muddy, a few stiles to climb over. Do come along!
