Come and join us on Saturday 7th June, 10am, when we walk from St Andrew’s Church in Compton Bishop to Cheddar via Axbridge and back again (max 12 miles). We are raising funds for fencing and surfacing costs as the path and cycleway will need to be clearly marked and safe to use. Along the way we will have a brief history-stop at the site of the old Workhouse in Axbridge and we can also enjoy a cake-break at the Farmer’s Market. Feel free to join us for part or all of the route, or pledge your support: every penny helps us towards our goal.

The Coffin Lane Campaign is run entirely by volunteers from the local community. We’re not part of any other organisation and don’t receive funding from anyone, but we are grateful for the support of Compton Bishop Parish Council, Axbridge Town Council, Axbridge Action Group, Sustrans, Tessa Munt MP, The Mendip Society, Mendip Ramblers, The New Inn @ Cross and many local residents.
